Heir Vote and Descriptions!

Read each description and then scroll down for the poll! Voting closes next Wednesday! Caleb is the oldest of the four Gray children. He is also the neatest of the four, constantly making the beds and cleaning the dishes. He was bullied by his classmates because of his interest in singing. Because of this, he is a loner. His sibling's accomplishments never cease to amaze him. He is so easily impressed. Caleb dreams of being a pop star and performing in front of huge crowds. He wants to be accepted for who he is and won't stop until he finds the people who will treat him with respect. Caleb is a heavy sleeper so he isn't always aware of what's happening around him at night. He is closest with his uncle Elliot, brother Noah and imaginary friend Puzzle. Caleb doesn't know it, but Levi isn't his biological father. You'd never be able to tell though with the way he is treated by Levi who loves him like his own. Noah is Athena's second born child, but he is Levi's first. Noah is a genius that love's to play chess. He practiced his logic skill with his grandfather Bruce who had quickly become his best friend. They were inseparable and he was torn apart when Bruce passed away. After Bruce's passing, Noah enrolled in boarding school to increase his logic skill and become a doctor. He left his girlfriend Corrine behind who swore she would wait for him. Who knows how everything will turn out because Noah is unlucky. He is fun-loving and excitable, making him the most outgoing of the four children. So much so, that he laughs at his own clumsiness. Noah wants to be a world renowned surgeon. Noah loves his family dearly and will do anything for them. Kayden and Daisy are twins. Kayden was born a few minutes earlier making him the older twin. He'll never let Daisy live that down. They are fraternal twins and look nothing alike. Kayden has black hair, unlike any other in his immediate family. It was traced further back into his ancestry. Kayden loves to paint and he does it constantly. He is very artistic but he isn't a master yet. He wants to open a shop that he can sell his paintings in. Nothing can stand in Kayden's way, he is the bravest person in the Gray family and will not hesitate to take a risk. Like Noah, he is also excitable. Those two can make any situation fun. Kayden has sworn off meat and is a vegetarian because he swears it's good motivation for his artwork. His twin sister will always be his top priority. The two of them are so in sync and they do almost everything together. they understand each other better than anyone else. Daisy is the youngest of the four Gray children. She is also the only girl. Because of this, she loves video games, having played them with her brothers often. Daisy has striking brown hair that can trace back to her grandfather Bruce. She is clumsy just like Noah. Do not task either of them with holding anything fragile because they will most likely destroy whatever it is. She loves the cold, so winter is definitely her favorite season. She is family oriented and though she is in no rush, she'd love to kids of her own one day. Daisy wants to be a famous five star chef. She is still experimenting with her recipes but there is no doubt that she is a natural born cook. Step aside Chef Ramsey, Daisy is going to be the next Master Chef.

Who should be the heir of generation 2?
  • Caleb
  • Noah
  • Kayden
  • Daisy

1.30 Think About It

The twins had aged up, but they were still very heartbroken at the loss of their grandfather. They also missed Noah dearly.
Daisy had spent most of  her free time cooking. Athena did not mind at all. She loved the break she got when Daisy insisted she would cook dinner. The boys hated it. You never knew what you would get for dinner with Daisy. She was always experimenting. Watermelon with Spaghetti was not a hit with the family.

Kayden stuck with his painting. He was slowly getting better. You could actually tell what he was trying to paint now. Kayden had decided that he wanted to be an artist. He didn't know how much job security that would get him, but he didn't care and neither did his parents who assured him that they would help him out of any tough situation if it meant he was following his dreams.

Caleb had spent his time in solitude as always but this time with his guitar. He was getting better and better everyday. Things were still rough in school but it honestly didn't bother him anymore. He was only a few days away from graduation and he'd be damned if he let anyone bring him down. He was positive that he wanted to become a pop star and go on tour. It wouldn't be easy, but struggle was something he was used to and he was sure that this time he'd conquer it.

Ever since the twins grew up, Caleb and them had gotten closer. They had both just started high school, but they weren't asking him for bedtime stories and that was the right of passage for him. When they weren't improving their skills, they were hanging out. They didn't forget about Noah though! They had video chatted with him every weekend when he was off from classes. He had been doing well and improving his logic skill. He was having a good time with some of the friends he'd made and was determined to graduate with all A's.

When the children were called into the room by their parents, they were a little flustered. WHat did they do this time?

"Noah, are you there? I don't know how this tablet thing works," Levi sighed.

"And you're the one from the future?" Athena joked.

"I'm not used to such primitive technology."

"What are you guys talking about?" Noah's voice broke from the device.

"Hey Noah!" Daisy said cheerfully. "Dad, hand me the tablet. I want to see his face."

"You guys are starting high school soon, right? Good luck!"

"Thanks!" Daisy grinned.

"Everyone, I've called you together for an important reason. Noah, I wish you were here physically to hear this, but I guess video chatting will have to do. Your father and I..."

"Are having another baby!?" Daisy gushed.

"No way. Absolutely not." Levi shook his head.

Daisy deflated. "Aww man!"

"We have the family we want right here. You guys are getting older and are going to have families of your own soon. We want to make sure that the Gray legacy continues. It's very important that you guys listen to everything I'm about to say. My mother died when I was a child. You guys didn't have the pleasure of knowing her, but take my word for it, she was a wonderful human being. She worked tirelessly for the government of Lunar Lakes in finding new worlds. She ended up in Riverview, which was just a legend back then, now you guys know about other worlds. Thats where she met grandpa Bruce and had Elliot. She was pregnant with me but was forced to return to Lunar Lakes. She lived with me and my step father for awhile until both were executed by the corrupt government. They wanted the materials and information from Riverview but they wanted to keep the people of Lunar Lakes isolated and my mother had the information and power to let other people in on the secret."

"Mom...is this all true?" Caleb frowned.

She nodded. "Yes, all of it. I met your father one day by accident. I had stumbled into a time portal and went to the future. He was tasked by the seasoned time traveler to come with me to Lunar Lakes to gather intel and save the future from being destroyed."

Kayden began laughing. "You can't be serious."

Daisy hit his arm. "Mom, ignore him. But you have to realize this sounds crazy to us. You said you've been to the future."

"It's true." Levi spoke up. "I'm from the future."

Caleb didn't seem convinced. "Then why are you here?"

"Because he loves mom!" Noah spoke up as if it was obvious. "He stayed in the past because he loves mom."

Athena sighed. "At least one of our children believes us."

"Well....not exactly," Noah said. "It sounds pretty bogus. I was just giving a reason why it would make sense if by some convoluted twist of fate it was true."

Athena thought for a moment. It did sound ridiculous but it was the truth. "Let me rephrase this. The government of Lunar Lakes is corrupt. They're pretty much creating a terrible society. Caleb, you can attest to this right? You've come in contact with some pretty mean individuals." Caleb nodded.

"Well, its up to you guys to help make Lunar Lakes a better place. When you're old enough you should pass the task onto your children and the cycle should continue. The future, whether we've been to it or not, is in some serious danger. We can't keep living like we are now. you guys have to make the change, one generation at a time and the future for your kids and your kids' kids and their kids' after that will be a better place. You need to rebuild Lunar Lakes." Levi finished.

The room grew silent.  "One of you children have to promise me that you'll take this mission of saving the future into your hands. Lunar Lakes is going to be destroyed in ten generations if nothing happens. We're counting on you guys. You don't have to make a decision now, but please, talk it over with each other and decide who is willing to give their everything to preserving the Gray family name. All four of you children are going to do great things, I know it. Your father and I couldn't be more proud of the incredible people you've grown into," Athena said.

"All four of you are going to contribute wonderful things to our family name." Levi clarified. "But only one of you can be the leader and keep things in place and make sure that everyone is on the right path. We are a family and we will look out for eachother no matter what."

The children still looked bewildered. Whether or not they believed that their mother went to the future, they all agreed that the future was in their hands. No matter what happened the four of them would stick together. They owed it to their grandparents and their parents to keep the Gray name going strong. Athena was sure that no matter who stepped up to the plate, any of them would make a fantastic heir to the Gray legacy.

1.29 It's not Goodbye

Kayden had been spending most of his time painting.

It was finally the day of gift giving. Athena and Levi decided to give the kids their gifts before company arrived. They got Caleb a guitar so he could get a head start on his singing career. They got Noah a stereo because he was constantly blasting music while he did his homework. Kayden got the newest gaming console and Daisy got her own mini oven that she could bake with. As a finishing touch, Athena decided to hang Kayden's first painting behind the tree.

Caleb and Daisy were hasty with opening their presents. They loved their gifts! The little chef in Daisy was in heaven and Caleb wasn't the only one enjoying the guitar.
Levi decided to let Noah off the hook because it was a holiday. What was Athena thinking anyway? He was positive that Noah did the right thing.
Jamie was the first guest to arrive. Noah wasn't too pleased about it.

"What are you doing here!?" Noah exclaimed.

"I've been thinking a lot lately and I'm really sorry that I was acting so immature. I'm not going to oust you or your brother. Prom is coming up so you guys should enjoy it. I mean, I did when I was in high school still."

"Really?" He paused for a moment. "Are you going to lay off the new girl?"

"What!? OF course not. She doesn't belong here. I know I'm the older one here and I should be mature about all of this, but honestly I can't let her kind come in and take over. Like, where the heck is Lucky Palms anyway!?"

"What is that supposed to mean? There isn't a kind. She is a human being just like you and me. You don't even know her," Noah protested.

"Aww is wittle Noah in wuv wif the new girl?" Jamie teased.

That was when Corrine's voice broke through the crowd. "Hey Noah!"

"Well Jamie, enjoy the party. I've got to go." He wanted to say something much worse but he couldn't bring himself to do it on a holiday that was about spreading cheer.

"Hey, thanks for coming! Is your dad here?" Noah smiled.

"Oh, he couldn't make it. He had something to do down at the science facility. He told me to tell you guys happy holidays though!" Corrine said.

"Tell him the next time he's down there to look out for my mom. Her name is Athena she's been working there for awhile."

"What does she do there?" Corrine asked.

"She does research on plants and stuff like that."

"Thats cool! My dad is doing research on Aliens. He's convinced they're real. He thought Lunar Lakes was inhabited by aliens. Imagine his surprise when we landed and he saw civilization."

Inside Athena confronted Malissa. "Hello Malissa, funny seeing you here."

"Hi Mrs. Gray. I'm sorry for coming unannounced but I wanted to thank Caleb and tell him that I got accepted to University with a partial scholarship."

"Thats really great. I'll be sure to tell him that you came, but I think it's best if you just go now. Caleb has his friends over now so he can't come down and talk to you."

"Right. I'm sorry. Maybe I'll come back another time to see him. Happy Holidays Mrs. Gray."

"You too sweetheart."

Upstairs Caleb was confronted by Elliot.

"It's been awhile hasn't it?" Elliot frowned.

"Yeah." Caleb shrugged. "I've been busy."

"I haven't made any effort either." He sighed. "I guess I was just upset that you'd blown off everyone at Noah's birthday party. I decided to let it go because you were with your friends but I hope that they're worthy enough to be put ahead of your own family."

"She wasn't."

"Caleb...what happened?"

They both stood up. "I thought I had finally made a real friend. She was a little older than me and she cared about what I had to say. She said she'd rather hang out with me than her other guy friends because I was more mature. Turns out she doesn't want to be seen with me out of our little tutoring sessions. I asked her to prom and she told me it'd basically ruin her reputation. I don't know what I did to make everyone hate me other than be myself. Am I that much of a horrible person that no one can stand to be seen around me on their own accord?"

"A girl who cares about what other people think of her isn't someone you need to be around. She'll toss anyone aside to have all eyes on her. Not every girl is like that. Your mother isn't, Erin isn't and I'm sure Daisy won't be like that either. You can't give up hope in humanity just yet. There are people who care Caleb. You just haven't found them yet. Once you do, you'll realize that they're worth the wait. I promise."

"I'm sorry Uncle Elliot for pushing you away."

He grinned. "It's alright. I've been through everything you're feeling right now. I hope you can make it to the wedding because I proposed!"

Corrine was the first guest to leave. She had gotten a call from her father and had to meet with him at the science facility. Noah tried to sneak out of the house to walk her out. Despite Levi's counseling, Athena was still upset with Noah for cutting curfew.

Elliot and Erin had shared the news with the family. Erin was going to become a Gray! Children was another story they'd have to work out. Elliot was all for it but Erin felt like they were too old to be chasing around a little one.

Prom rapidly approached. Despite Caleb's heartbreak, Noah convinced him to go to the dance. [Mainly because he needed help to sneak him and Corrine in without a ticket] Noah was voted prom king. Nobody knew what happened until he had strolled on stage but by then it was too late because the audience unanimously voted for him in the write in sections. Corrine had asked him to go steady during the dance and he was convinced that he was madly in love with her. Caleb had a dance off with another student. Caleb won. He was a musical genius after all! The other kid wasn't too thrilled about it and they got in a fight. Noah was ready to pounce, but the teachers were able to dispel the situation before it got too crazy.

"That was awesome!" Noah grinned after it all transpired.

"I'm glad you convinced me to go. Who needs a girl to have fun?"

"Hey! Corrine is the bomb." Noah said.

"I never said that she wasn't!" Caleb protested.

The two brothers were extremely close because of prom.

Before Caleb went to bed, Bruce stopped him.

"Hey grandpa, what are you doing up so late?"

"I've been up all night trying to perfect the imaginary friend metamorphium potion. I've finally done it. My life's work is complete. I want you to have it. I'm not going to live forever so this will probably be of no use to me. I want you to have it."

"Grandpa, what are you talking about?" Caleb questioned.

"You'll know when the time comes. I'm getting tired. Goodnight." Bruce yawned and left.

Next he went to talk to Noah. "How was prom?"

"I had a blast. Corrine and I are going steady!" Noah beamed.

"Ahh, young love. I remember her from the party. She was a nice girl. I'm glad you had fun. I have to talk to you about something that's been bothering me though."

"Whats up?" Noah asked.

"You know that I'm not going to live forever right? I need you to promise to look after the family when I'm gone. Its all up to you, Caleb, Daisy and Kayden to carry on the Gray legacy. I'm not going to live to see the next generation but I am so proud of everything you do."

"Grandpa...why are you talking like this? You're perfectly healthy."

"You have to promise me alright? You never know what time has in store."

"Alright. I promise. Now go and get some rest." Noah shook his head and wondered what that was all about. His grandfather was still going strong at his age.

The next morning Noah had woken up to the worst news possible. Levi was the only one up to witness it.
He said that Bruce had left on good terms with death. He had lived a long and prosperous life. Levi had called Elliot and they had mourned on the phone together. Athena was a mess. Just a week earlier her good friend Lars had passed away as well. She tried to hide her pain behind a smile for her family but Levi saw right through it. The twins took it hard as well. No one took it worse than Noah though. Bruce and Noah had been the best of friends.

"Why...why did you have to go?" He sobbed. "You were my best friend." He had lost not only a grandfather but a best friend. His heart was in shackles.

"Mom...I miss him already."

"Your grandfather lived a long life. He had no regrets. He's finally reuniting with his true love. But don't worry. He will always be with you. Always."

A few days later Noah had confronted his parents. Levi was just on his way out to work but Noah insisted it couldn't wait.

"Whats this all about?" Levi asked.

"I've decided that I want to go to Smuggsworth Prep School."

"Excuse me?"

"Thats great!" Athena enthused.

"Are you out of your mind Athena? He's not leaving this house."

"He wants to better himself. Whats the problem with that?"

"Elliot is gone, Bruce is gone. We can't afford to lose anyone else in this household," Levi said firmly.

"Oh sweetheart. We can't hold our children back forever. They need to grow up and fly.It hurts me too but we have to let go."

"You're a teenager. You don't know what you want." Levi said directing his attention to Noah.

"Yes I do. I want to be a doctor like Grandpa. I've decided that the only way to get myself in that position is to put myself out there. I have to start taking things seriously. I have no reason to stay back and play anymore. I want this."

"And Corrine?" Athena frowned.

"I'll see her when I get back."

Noah thought back to the advice his brother had given him. They had come a long way.
"You need to cheer up. Grandpa doesn't want you to sit and mope here. You have to embrace what you want and go for it. It's taken me all this time to realize it, but all along we've held a great hand in life. Sometimes we've been pushed because something or someone wants to see us do better. Grandpa's passing has just opened a new door for you. Go through that door. It's what it's there for. Be that positive force that keeps this family together."

"What about you?" Noah frowned.

"I'll be fine thanks to everyone here. I'm never alone. As long as you promise to come back for us."

"I promise." That was two promises that he wouldn't leave unfulfilled.

That night Noah asked Corrine to meet him at the movie theater. It would only be the two of them alone in the small theater if there wasn't another guy there.

"He's got really cool hair," Corrine whispered. "Maybe you guys could trade tips. Green highlights could be a good look for you."

They could hear the man let out a soft chuckle.

"Shhh! Corrine! He can hear you." Noah nudged her.

"Sorry, sorry. You have great hair sir!" She said louder.

Noah shrunk back in his seat. What was she doing?

"Thank you." The man grinned and turned around. Noah caught a glimpse of an unfamiliar face he hadn't seen around Lunar Lakes before. He would remember the green and black hair anywhere.

After the movie the two embraced. Noah had tears in his eyes. Saying goodbye was going to be harder than he thought. He was already halfway through high school so he wouldn't be away from her for more than a couple of years.

"The movie wasn't that sad. Come on now," Corrine teased.

"Its not that," Noah choked out. "I'm leaving."

"Leaving? What do you mean?"

"I'm going to boarding school until I graduate. Then hopefully I'll be on my way to med school."

Corrine held her heart. "But...we've only just gotten together. What am I saying? I'm being selfish. I love you more than anything in the world Noah. If you want to go to boarding school, I'll back you up even if I don't want to see you leave. It'll only be for a few years right? I'll wait for you. "

"I can't ask you to do that. If you meet someone else then go for it. I don't want you to have to depend on me. It isn't fair to you."

"But I want to. I'm going to wait for you and call you everyday. We can make long distance work, I know it! When are you leaving?"

"Tomorrow morning."

"That soon?" Corrine frowned.

"It was kind of a last minute thing, but I knew it was what I had to do after my grandfather passed away."

"Oh Noah I'm so sorry!"

When Noah had arrived home, Caleb was practicing with his guitar.

"So, do you think you'll have written your own song when I get back?" Noah asked.

"I'll probably have an album," Caleb joked.

"I'll be waiting to hear it."

"Grandpa...I'm...no. We're going to make you and the Gray family proud. Caleb is practicing his guitar skill and I know he'll make a kick ass musician. Daisy can't keep away from the oven. She's going to be a world class chef one day. Kayden can't keep his hands off of the paint brush. He'll be a famous artist in no time. As for me, I'm going to boarding school to work on my logic skill. When I come back I'm going to be a doctor and make the world a better place."

The next morning Noah had left to boarding school. Levi wasn't too happy about it but he made Elliot promise to be in touch and always have his cellphone on him. Levi was going to call him as soon as he arrived. Athena thought she was ready to let go but she couldn't hold back the tears as her son had entered the limousine.

"Call everyday alright!?"

"Of course I will mom! I love you!" Noah shouted through the window.

"I love you too!" She called out as the car drove away. As she watched the car drive away, she knew it was time to talk to the kids about the Gray legacy and how important their roles were in changing the future. She'd have to choose one of the four to entrust the job of saving the future. She already had an heir in mind.

______________________________________________

Alrighty, a lot happened in that chapter! The next one is probably not going to be as detailed. I tried to age the twins up so I could get the heir vote up already but the game was being glitchy. Hopefully I'll have them aged up by tomorrow so I can upload their descriptions and the heir poll! Even though Noah is in boarding school, he will still be a choice! I'm biased and hope my favorite wins, but we'll see how it goes when I put the poll up tomorrow! Thanks again for reading!

1.28 How Can I Stay Grounded?

Disclaimer: I forgot to mention that I did not build this house in any way! I downloaded it straight from Mod The Sims here: Woodlawn Estate

The Gray family had finally moved into their new house. There was enough room for everyone, including a spare guest bedroom. Noah had been taking more responsibility in the house as he got older. He helped his mother care for the twins while Levi was at work.
It was the twin's birthday. The family decided to just have cake instead of throwing a huge party.

Noah was particularly excited to see his siblings age up. Caleb was pretty indifferent, at least on the outside.

He even decided to take his cake and eat it in the other room away from his family. He had been gradually opening up, but still was a reserved and quiet person.
Kayden grew into his short black hair.

Daisy and Kayden couldn't look further apart from twins. Athena wondered if they'd resemble each other when they aged up to teens.

The children were always fighting for Caleb's attention even though he tried to ignore them.

"He's going to tell me a bedtime story because I asked him first!" Daisy exclaimed.

"But he'll have more fun telling me a story!"

"No he won't! Tell him Caleb!"

"No! Tell her Caleb!"

"Go ask mom. I've got some homework to do," Caleb grumbled.

That night, Caleb had invited Malissa over to go over some last minute questions before she had to take the exam. Malissa had been coming over frequently, at least twice a week to study with Caleb. Mostly they stayed on topic, but sometimes they found themselves laughing and joking with each other and they quickly became good friends.

"Hello guys, how is studying going along?" Athena asked coming into the room.

"Great Mrs. Gray. Caleb is so smart." Malissa smiled. "Thank you for leaving dinner out for us by the way, it tasted really good."

"Oh no problem. You can't study on an empty stomach right?"

"Mom, we're kind of trying to study now, and you just got back from work so why don't you go and relax?" Caleb suggested politely. If Malissa wasn't here he'd probably be flying off the handles at his mother. She was embarrassing him! Athena on the other hand had been trying to sneak her way into their conversations for weeks. She wasn't particularly keen on the idea of an older girl hanging around her young son. He wasn't in the place to have bad influences in his life and she feared Malissa would drag him into a world too adult for him.

But she knew when to back off. "Alright, stick to studying you two."
It was awkward for a few moments until Caleb thought it was safe to commence with his plan. He had wanted to ask Malissa an important question and things were going so great between them that he was sure she wouldn't reject him.

"Malissa....I uhmm...I'd like to ask you something..." Caleb trailed off. He was nervous. He'd never asked a girl out before, yet alone someone much older than him. He felt his palms get sweaty.

"If it's about number four then I got 87." Malissa answered.

"No...it's not about any of that. Just close the books for a second and look at me." His heart was pounding. He'd had Malissa's full attention. "Doyouwanttogotopromwithme?!?" Caleb quickly spat out.

"Woah slow down Caleb. Did you say something about prom?" Malissa asked.

"Will you go to prom with me?" Caleb asked again.

"Oh Caleb. It honestly means a lot to me that you'd want to take me to prom with you. I'm flattered but...I don't think my boyfriend would like that very much."

"What are you talking about? Didn't you say you were single?" Caleb frowned.

Malissa looked flustered. "When did I say that?"

"At yesterday's lesson." Suddenly Caleb understood the entire situation. "You don't like me."

"No Caleb it isn't that. You're really sweet, but you're too young. I can't go to a high school prom, how bad is that going to look for me?"

"Good luck on your entrance exam." Caleb said standing up. "Good luck on your future." Before he left the room he turned to her. "By the way...I made that dinner, not my mom. You know the way to the exit."

"Caleb...wait. I didn't mean that. It's not like that."

"Your reputation is more important then my feelings, I get it. Now I'm going to tell you one more time to leave my damn house," Caleb growled. Malissa had never seen him like this before. The last time he was this worked up was when Elliot told him he was leaving.

~Meanwhile, with Noah~

"Noah!" Athena yelled. She had gone outside to let Malissa out. She had tried to talk to Caleb who pushed her away as always. She noticed Noah was sleeping on the front porch in the snow.

"Ten more minutes, mom." Noah groaned.

"What are you doing out here?" She asked. "You're not drunk are you!?"

"No mom. I'm not drunk. Just tired. I'll explain later."

"I want an explanation NOW."

-Enter Flashback-

"So what do you say? We ruffle the new girl's feathers?" Noah's friend asked him (I can't remember what her name was >_<)

"Why do you care honestly? You graduated last year," Noah shrugged.

"Because, we have to make sure that she knows her place in Lunar Lakes. Theres a hierarchy here... I don't like that these scientists from other worlds are discovering Lunar Lakes and letting their people take over."

"I'm sure it's not even like that. Who cares about some new girl anyway? I'm not going to bully her. It's people like you who've made my brother's life a living hell. Just let people live their lives," Noah said.

"You do realize who you're turning on right? I can have the whole school turned against you and your gay older brother." She spat.

"EXCUSE ME?" Noah shouted. "I don't care about who you turn against me. I don't care if the entire school hates me. My brother on the other hand is none of your damn business. They all already hate him. Theres nothing you can do that isn't already happening. My brother is a great guy and naive, idiotic, self absorbed people like you are the reason he's afraid to be who he is. You honestly need to get a life, because messing with people...teenagers...when you're a young adult is really sad." Noah walked off. He honestly didn't know why he hung out with her for so long. It was all fun and games in middle school but after watching what became of his brother because of the constant bullying, he had had enough.

Noah's next course of action came naturally to him. He decided to visit the new girl and warn her about the vicious people she'd encounter in Lunar Lakes if she stayed.

"Hi, I'm Noah Gray. I live up on that hill over there. I heard about a new girl moving in and I want to welcome you here and uhmm...warn you." He felt himself slipping on his words. He was not expecting her to be so beautiful. Something about her radiated off of her. He felt like he couldn't frown in front of her.

"Hello Noah, I'm Corrine! I'm from Lucky Palms. It's nice to meet you. I'm actually glad to meet someone from Lunar Lakes. What do you mean by warn?"

"There's these kids and even some people who have graduated who want to prank you in order to show you your place in Lunar Lakes. They've been pulling the same crap on my brother and it's torn his life apart. I can't stand to see it happen to anyone else, so I just thought I'd let you know to watch your back here."

"Really?" Corrine frowned. "I have no reason not to believe you do I? I mean unless you're the one pulling the prank right?"

Noah shrugged. "I put the information out there. What you do with it is up to you."

"I think I'll trust you, you seem really sweet and cute." She grinned.

"What was that?" Noah asked blushing.

Corrine shrugged in return. "I put the information out there. What you do with it is up to you."
The two found themselves flirting with each other easily. They hung out for a while until Noah had to leave. He had to head over to the science facility and get some research done for a project. It was getting late and if he didn't leave soon, he'd not get out until after curfew and the cops in Lunar Lakes did not play around with teens hanging out after dark.

Noah found himself acting really out of character around Corrine. He'd only known her for a couple of hours and he already felt the need to leave her with something to remember him by. He had given her his first kiss and ran off in a hurry. On his way out his shouted, "Prom?"

"Don't you have to be a senior?" Corrine shouted back.

"Do I look like I play by the rules?" Noah smirked.

Corrine laughed. "I'll take that as a yes!" He shouted before waving her off. It was hard to believe he'd only known her for a few short hours. He couldn't wait to spend many more with her.

Corrine watched the strange boy run away. "Noah Gray," She whispered, touching her now cold lips. She had been here for only a day and already she had her first kiss stolen by a cutie with pink hair. She didn't know what to think about any of it, except that it had felt so right. "Noah Gray," She repeated. Her father was not going to like this one bit, but she couldn't help but smile when she thought about it...

Afterwards, Noah had headed to the science facility as prompted by his teacher. It was kind of late but the staff was very friendly towards him and let him in because his mother worked there. He tried to hurry with his research but it was a lot and he had left his project until last minute.

Of course, he'd been caught passed curfew by the police. They had dropped him off home and he'd been camping outside until the coast was clear to sneak in. He's been trying to call Caleb to cover for him, but he didn't answer his phone.

-End of Flashback-

"Noah, I'm so proud of you for telling me the truth, sticking up for your brother and even being there for the new girl" (He had conveniently left out the part where he kissed her, he knew his mother would want to know every detail and he was just too tired for all of that interrogation). Athena continued, "But you did stay out way past the curfew I'd given you. You had plenty of time to do your project and talking to the new girl didn't need to last that long and so you have no excuse for staying out so late. Your father is all about tough love with Caleb and I don't think we should be babying you either, so I'm sorry but you're grounded Noah."

"Are you serious?" Noah groaned and trudged inside.
